What does my baby look like at 7 weeks pregnant?

Many women who are pregnant are keen to know what does my baby look like at 7 weeks pregnant would be able to observe via an ultrasound that the size of baby at 7 weeks pregnant will almost be about the quarter of an inch long. Additionally the brains of the baby at 7 weeks pregnant will be growing at an astonishing rate of a 100 cells per minute and they will have a skull that is still transparent as the bones have not fully formed. As part of the baby development at 7 weeks pregnant the face of the baby will become even more defined during this week of pregnancy. The face of the baby at 7 weeks will have a tiny mouth hole developing along with the nostrils, tongue as well as the ear indentations. The eyes of the baby at 7 weeks pregnant will be wide open but they will not have any irises as yet. On the other hand as part of the ongoing baby development at 7 weeks pregnant, the arm buds of the baby will start to form and grow along with the leg buds which will begin to resemble tiny paddle by the end of week 7 of the pregnancy. Those who are keen on knowing what their baby would look like at 7 weeks pregnant can also observe through a pregnancy ultrasound that the umbilical cord which connects the placenta and the baby will also be more prominent in week 7. The baby development at 7 weeks pregnant will continue at a rapid rate with a growth in the major muscle systems of the baby. In fact by week 7 of the pregnancy the baby will start producing his own blood as well.  One should also keep in mind that the baby at 7 weeks pregnant will be showing some movements even though they are uncoordinated. On closer observation via an ultrasound, the baby at 7 weeks pregnant will also start to have slight webbing between the toes and the fingers. Additionally at this stage of the pregnancy  thin veins will be visible under the baby’s skin and the teeth of the baby will also begin to form in the mouth of the baby. Baby development at 7 weeks pregnant will also include the formation of the appendix and the intestines. At 7 weeks pregnant the liver of the baby will also start to work very hard to produce the required amount of red blood cells.
