Mood swings during pregnancy are marked at around six to ten weeks of the pregnancy. Mood changes in pregnancy cannot be helped a lot. However, discussing your condition with a doctor may help. Usually, if the condition is very severe, the doctor may prescribe therapy or medications. Do not self-medicate during this time, as it can be harmful for your baby. Since early pregnancy mood changes are most marked, you just have to wait till it passes. With the belly changes during pregnancy, your mood will also change. However, this is nothing to worry about, as it is very common and almost all women experience it.
The physical symptoms of pregnancy have a lot to do with the mood swings during pregnancy. The heartburn, fatigue, and frequent urination that you experience, may cause you additional stress. If you are able to manage these symptoms, chances are your mood swings will be much less marked.
