By the 8th week, which is the end of the second month, most women are aware of the fact that they are pregnant. What are the signs of miscarriage at 8 weeks?
There are several different signs of miscarriage at 8 weeks that you may notice in case there is a problem with the baby or the pregnancy. Given below are some of the common early signs of miscarriage at 8 weeks:
- Appearance of a whitish-pink or dark brown discharge
- Cramps in the abdomen
- Severe pain in the lower back region
- Weight loss
- Leaking of fluid from the vagina

- Vaginal bleeding ranging from moderate to heavy
Several women notice flu-like symptoms when they have a miscarriage.

In case of a miscarriage in the eight week of pregnancy, it is possible for your body to discharge the fetus, without any medical intervention. However, your doctor will need to check of all the tissue has been removed. If not, you may need to go through a dilation and curettage procedure.
