This is when the egg which is fertilized gets attached to the endometrial womb lining which is around 10 days after the ovulation.

Watery milky discharge: Watery milky discharge during pregnancy is common and may increase as the pregnancy progresses. This odorless sticky fluid is white and watery and produced by the vagina.

Though this is there all the time it only becomes more noticeable during pregnancy when it increases and becomes visible. This is because of the increase in the flow of blood to the vagina and also the rise in the estrogen levels. Sometimes this discharge could even be spotted with red during the early period of pregnancy. Later the discharge is more like the white of an egg. This happens when the cervix gets dilated and expels the protective plug of mucus which forms during early pregnancy. There is no way one can stop this discharge and the only way to feel comfortable is to wear panty liners or a sanitary napkin. However, using tampons and douching should definitely be avoided.

Thin milky discharge: The thin milky discharge during pregnancy is something which cannot be avoided and neither is there any treatment to prevent it. However, as it makes one feel uncomfortable and unhygienic the only thing to do is to keep one's self clean and dry. Using wipes often and washing the external areas with just water helps with this. Avoid perfumed products and soaps as these will tend to irritate the genitals. Loose cotton under garments are the best to wear.

Pink milky discharge: The last thing which anyone should do with these symptoms is to try and treat one's self. Always consult your doctor about any problem and get advice from qualified people. The normally white milk discharge could turn into a pink milky discharge during pregnancy sometimes. No layperson will be able to give you the correct diagnosis for this and it is best to consult your doctor. If there is irritation and itching in the area it could be because of an infection or it could be the onset of premature labor so see your doctor without any further delay.
